The data centre uses uninterruptible power supplies. In the case of a power cut, the power supply is switched with absolutely no interruption to a diesel generator capable of running our service for 30 days.
Using a centralised storage area network (SAN) and automatic load-balancing server technology, our service is automatically provided the resources needed to operate efficiently and will automatically distribute workloads across physical machines to give best performance
The SchoolBooking service is backed up every two hours, a full backup of all data is stored offsite every evening and customers can also make snapshot backups of their own individual site at any time.
